Wall Mounted Console Type

These console type units are available from many manufacturers. All require holes to be drilled through the facade to vent. Some offer adapters to allow venting below a window.

These heat pumps are the least expensive and easiest to install. There is no construction required and they clip over the window ledge.

PTAC Sleeve Options

For buildings that have existing PTAC sleeves, there are two excellent options.

Mini-Split: This is where the "outdoor part" sits inside the PTAC sleeve and the "indoor part" is mounted on a wall, ceiling or concealed inside a ceiling. These are the most expensive to purchase and install, yet offer the most versatility. 

PTAC Replacement: This is where you simply remove the existing PTAC and replace with an inverter Heat Pump.
